Barnesville Pumpkin Festival
5K Run & Free Fitness Walk

Saturday, September 27, 2008 -- 8:00 AM (start time) 

Come run and spend the day at the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival.  All Pumpkin Festival activities begin at 10:00 AM. The Pumpkin Parade starts at 2:00 PM.  Proceeded will benefit the Barnesville Track & Cross Country program. 

THE COURSE -- Over the Historic B&O Railroad, Barnesville, Ohio -- The race starts downtown at Ryman & Terrett's Pharmacy in front of the King Pumpkin stand. 
The course will loop through downtown and then head onto the historic B&O railroad.  The course goes past the Depot and follows the old railroad (now a paved road) out and back and finishes at the Depot. 
The course is FLAT and FAST! 

Entry Information:

·         Pre-registration for 5K run $12.00  (must be postmarked by Sept. 20th)

·         Registration for 5K run after September 20th  and day of race is $15.00

·         Fitness Walk is FREE

·         Race day registration is from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at the Barnesville Railroad Depot

·         The race starts downtown at Ryman & Terrett's Pharmacy and the King Pumpkin Stand

·         T-shirts to the first seventy-five 5K run entrants

·         Fitness Walkers can order a T-shirts for $10.00

·         Make checks payable to Barnesville Track/Cross Country Parents

Awards & Divisions:

·         Trophies to the top 3 overall male and female in the 5K run

·         Age group trophies will be given in the 5K run for the top 2 in the following divisions: Male & Female: 14&under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69, 70+
