Barnesville Pumpkin Festival Parade
Please pre-register no later than Friday, September 19th, 2008.

            The 45th Annual Barnesville, Ohio Pumpkin Festival Parade will be held on
Saturday, September 27th, 2008 at 2:00 pm – rain or shine.
We would be pleased to have any bands, businesses, horses, church groups, clubs,
or other organizations that wish to participate in this popular annual event.

No entry fee is required. 


 THEME FOR 2008

We are asking that all entrants PRE-REGISTER
due to time constraints on the day of the parade.
There will be NO REGISTRATION on the day of the parade!

Only those entrants that have pre-registered will be announced.
If your entry has not been pre-registered by Friday Sept. 19th 2008,
you are still welcomed to participate
in the parade but you will have to fall in line after the last pre-registered entry.
If you are wanting to ensure your entry is announced and judged you MUST pre-register.

You may pick up your entry number the day of the
 parade at the registration table located on Roosevelt road

          Check in will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 27
on Roosevelt Road just off State Route 147 east of town.

Signs will be posted on the road.
Check ins will be taken until 1:00 pm.

Winning entries will receive trophies in one category only
and the decisions of the judges and parade officials will be final.
Winners will be announced after the parade and trophies may be picked up at the information booth

All units MUST be in line by 1:15 pm, the formation area will be Shamrock Drive, by the high school, Roosevelt Road,
and Sandy Ridge Road, there will be one way traffic in that area after 11:00 am until the parade moves at approximately 1:45 pm.
All entries MUST enter Roosevelt Road off state route 147 only.
 Railroad Street is your return route to the origin of the parade signs will be posted.
